Loving An Oversized Cross-Over Shirt! 🤗🙏😻
At the beginning of the year I wandered into Target Country down at Merimbula, a little beachside town not far from our farm in the hinterland behind Eden, and picked up a couple of white shirts two sizes larger than I’d normally wear.
I’d seen such shirts tucked in and crossed over at the front on Instagram and really liked the effect.
White Shirt Casual Ease In A Denim and Utility Skirt…
The shirt on the right is a heavier cotton whereas the one on the left is a wider weave, giving it a more casual vibe and was a perfect fit with the faded denim skirt, whereas the more structured one went well with the heavier fabric of the utility skirt.
I gave both shirts a twist and wore a black bra underneath for some extra oomph, an animal print scarf and long necklace.
I found that both a wide waist and a narrow waist were effective in giving an attractive silhouette to the outfits and these shirts were super comfy, given that I have lymphodoema in my left arm following the removal of lymph nodes during my breast cancer treatment.
I’m growing my hair back and enjoying trying a couple of different styles and from time to time will definitely be trying some extensions.
So I encourage such a style if you want an outfit with a little something, something.
I thought I’d share our labels and business cards for our little cottage industry business, Purple Sting – so hopeful for some success as we move into the New Year.
Future Directions Of Our Honey…
We’ve learnt that the shape of these jars don’t work so well with our cute labels but that’s ok because this first batch, dedicated to our dear Odin, has mainly been given to family and friends.
We look forward to flavouring our next harvest of honey with Chilli, Turmeric and Cardarmon in keeping with our promotion of a healthy and happy lifestyle but we will see how we go…
Thank you for joining me in my little corner of the web and take care of yourselves as we get closer to Chrissy craziness!!
