Christmas and My December in the Southern Hemisphere!!
I’ve written before about how only 5% of the world’s population live in the Southern Hemisphere and of course my home, Australia, is part of that small group.
The culture here is very relaxed, mainly because of the warm climate which leads to a less intense lifestyle.
We spent Christmas up in Wollongong and the grown-up kids came for a visit – my daughter and her wife before and for Christmas Day and my son and his girlfriend after …
The weather is hot and we still have multiple bushfires burning all around the state of New South Wales, on the east coast of Australia with “catastrophic” conditions predicted as we progress into summer.
I’ve relented and decided to wear shorts for the first time in many a year – I’m just not going to keep thinking my legs aren’t good enough – I’m heading into the new year and decade with greater confidence and more of a devil may care attitude, so you can expect some sexy lingerie pics soon as a follow-up of my breast cancer reconstruction.
I’ve been surprised that I’ve embraced the kimono trend – this one is silk so perfect for the hot weather – but I’ve found it adds a certain something, something …
In Other News…
We went away for a few days to the tropical Fitzroy island, which is off the coast of Northern Queensland – it was truly beautiful!!

We went on a sunset cruise on the catamaran behind me and Fitzroy Island is in The Great Barrier Reef and it’s just a gorgeous, low stress place to go … shame the reef is dying at an alarming rate …
We were very lucky to enjoy such a fabulous time away before the stress of Christmas, my birthday and the New Year.
I’m looking forward to the 2020s after a decade that really wasn’t the best and I wish to thank all of you for taking the time to read my little blog – I feel truly humbled and appreciative of every one of you!!
