Part 1: It’s A Beautiful Day For A Drive…
We have two beautiful, very possessive and attached white Siamese cats so we don’t get away on trips much.
Plus we just love to potter about doing things on our home and going out locally.
Being diagnosed with breast cancer in April last year changed all that.
We decided that we would take a trip away as soon as I felt able – to kind of celebrate …
Home Sweet Home!
Started the trip in Eden wearing this pretty, light and comfy dress that is second-hand and a beautiful quality!
We made our way via the Princes Highway to Lakes Entrance where we spent the night in a fab little air BnB, Ivy-May Cottage, through bookings.com
Date Night Dinner!!
We were recommended a nice seafood restaurant for dinner so headed out wearing my frilled-front Joseph Ribkoff pants and a fun off the shoulder top.
I love this necklace because it’s a bit edgy and fun, especially teamed with my little robot earrings because I LOVE robots and Science Fiction.
I also clipped in some blonde dread-locks extensions for extra oomph.
The dinner was smashingly delicious and the hospitality of our hosts, Liam and Suzie at Ivy-May Cottage, was extraordinary.
We had such a beautiful stay in every possible regard …
I loved the old world style of the place, which was in the home itself, it’s decor, china, bedrooms, furnishing and the hospitality, kindness and generosity of the hosts, Liam and Suzie.
The breakfast was unbelievably delicious, with every dietary need covered.
Onwards and Upwards!!
We then headed on the road towards Melbourne to meet with a delightful instagram follower of mine Eva from Eva Ladies Boutique …
