A Change of Heart
I’ve always loved jewel colours and brightness so it’s been a bit of departure from my style to go in for these lovely soft, light neutrals.

This Autumn and Winter I have been really enjoying wearing a variety of neutrals (not just black), particularly beiges, creams and winter white.

I’m here for wraps and shawls as they are so much more comfy than sleeved coats that can sometimes squeeze my lymphodoema arms (result of breast cancer surgery).
Winter-White for the Win!
The creams and winter whites have been seriously on repeat this winter..

The fur gilet and maxi tunic proved versatile.
This time worn with a satin bias skirt instead of pleather pants.

Cool To Warm..
I guess my skin tone is more towards the cool but that doesn’t stop me enjoying warm neutrals, I just make it work!

I have been working to be sustainable by #rewearing my clothing as much as possible, and I’m loving that I’m being able to reduce the size of my wardrobe to pieces that really do work for me.
I invested in a few knit jumpers in different colours this winter and the cream one was perfect under this trench.
I received so many lovely compliments in this outfit when I headed out to do a bit of shopping.
So here’s another outfit created with these pants:

Staying current makes such a difference to the success of an outfit and I’m finding the change to the styles and shapes of cardigans can really work to elevate an outfit so that it’s stylish and comfortable.
For me, the crop helps to lengthen the legs, with the longer, wide-legged pants also adding to it.
As you can see, I have a wide range of style and don’t adhere to one particular type, so I guess I keep people guessing about what I will turn up in next!
I’m going to leave it there for today and will follow up with sharing more of my Autumn/Fall and Winter looks where I was wearing these beautiful light neutrals next time.
