Can’t Beat A Wrap Dress…
I picked up this pretty floral wrap dress in a local boutique in the beachside town of Merimbula and I’ve actually bought a couple of other dresses from them that I just love as well.
I guess I’m writing this and putting on these pics just to encourage anyone out there who loves feminine styling to consider the versatility and fun of a boho wrap dress.
Now you can wear this dress in a looser wrap, but I’ve tightened it so that it doesn’t gape at the front and this gives a more svelte appearance to the dress.
The colours in the print, the v-neckline, distinct waistline detailing and flutter sleeves make the dress a favourite over the season.
Tulle for Feminine Power
In the last couple of years I’ve invested in a number of different tulle skirts in different colours.
I find them versatile and can dress them up or down and I had fun styling this pretty blue number for a lunch out with a plain long sleeved top and a beige canvas jacket and some matching booties.
This is a comfortable and stylish outfit and I encourage all of you not to hang onto so-called “special” items for “special” occasions but to wear the full extent of your wardrobe as often as possible.
Denim and Boots
These kitten heel booties are incredibly comfortable and versatile in that they work with long or short skirts and look great with some jeans and pants.
The jacket I’ve paired this skirt with is cute and cropped so it assists in giving length to the legs giving the outfit a balanced look.
Proportion and balance are so important in creating looks that always work effectively for you.
Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web and I’d love to hear your thoughts about wearing the full breadth of your wardrobe.
