Go Knit Or Go Home!
I think I’m addicted …
I’ve always been a bit crazy about knit dresses because they’re:
A. Cosy
B. Flattering
C. Versatile
But be that as it may I’m not quite sure why I’ve suddenly been picking up so many?! 🥰
Anyway, I’ve been loving on them big time and so here’s a post about styling them in a couple of different ways.

Clearly, these pics demonstrate option C, which is the versatility of such dresses – the pic on the right was for a mild autumn day in the early 20’s C and the one on the left was a chilly 13°C and yet both times this gorgeous green dress hit the mark!

Here it shows the dress to be option B of flattering – even though I was a bit chunkier in the pic on the right, the dress hugs in all the right places and the little rolls here and there can be nicely forgotten…

There’s no doubt that this little dress covers the option A aspect of being cosy, as well as flattering and versatile, especially with a textured vest, warm tights and sturdy boots.
Making The Most Of Your Knit Dresses

Stop buying things and only styling them the same way with the same accessories! Stop it now!
Instead, look at any given item and try different colours together and different additional pieces, such as scarves, shoes, tights, bags, necklaces, vests, belts and gloves, (not to mention my fun hair extensions while I grow mine out, because life’s too short to wait for long hair!) … the list goes on!!

Mixing It Up!
Don’t be afraid to mix things up a bit!
It’s only fashion and if you don’t like the result or feel wrong in the outfit you can always take it off and change to something else.
You can see that I have paired the wide chocolate belt and leopard scarf with the cream dress and the green dress.
I’ve opted for a vintage bag and some soft suedette boots and the scarf has been tied around the head, which gives the cream knit dress a boho vibe, whereas the scarf around the neck and high heeled green suede shoes transport the green dress into an elegant look.
I wore this bottle green dress for a bit of sexy Saturday night vibes so the green shoes were paired instead with sheer green hose and I kept the accessories to a minimum except for the longer hair – fun times!

What lovely figure hugging dresses you have, they really show off your figure especially with those wide belts. Such a complete stylish outfit with that beautiful full length leather coat, I’ll have to get mine out again when the weather cools. Thank you for posting.

Vanity And Me Style
June 19, 2021 at 9:37 pmFunny that. The cream one is my favourite. Along with the wrap style. I wear shapewear and a full petticoat under mine. That really does skim over the lumps. Trust me! xx
