Polkadots and A Fun Print!
Thank you to so many of you who have expressed your concern for Australia and for me personally, at this time. I have so much appreciated your beautiful kindness and concern as we try to make our way through this dreadful crisis!!
We’ve had some pretty warm days here, as it’s the middle of summer and a filmy dress always feels lovely and feminine on the hottest of days.
We are still in the midst of awful bushfires, literally on our doorstep, in Eden!
That being said, I’ve decided to post this sweet little dress and be positive as we brace ourselves for another horrendous weekend, weather-wise…
This little dress can be worn loose and roomy, but I preferred the addition of the raffia belt to give it a bit more shape.
The fabric is a soft, light silk and the different sized polkadots together with the floral border in the hem and around the neckline gives the dress interest and adds balance to its fullness.
It was hair up because with the heat and humidity, styling it long is just a nightmare.
In fact, I’ve been considering a short and sassy cut and style – but then who knows?!
It was windy and I love the way the dress easily shows some movement.
Bits and Bobs…
The strappy sandals and the black, floral necklace and black sunnies completed the look and went well with the high hair bun!
The sweet little neck tie can close the neckline more or less, depending on what you want and the frilled sleeve once again gives the dress shape and pretty detail.
Thank you for joining me in my little corner of the web,
