Fabby Outfits I’ve Been Wearing Lately

November 8, 2019

Feeling it…

Lately I just haven’t been feeling it.

Haven’t really wanted to do anything much other than just schlep around.

This is actually quite unlike me – but I think I’m just in a bit of a funk and hopefully I will snap out of it when we get some extended warmer weather and when this year is behind me …. although that’s a worry too because the country is in drought and there are already massive bushfires all over the place, but in any case I will push on and show you a few things I have been wearing of late.

Nothing terribly exciting here – very windy when this was taken so the flutter sleeve was blown all around the place..

The Indian cotton top is a favourite for the warmer months – I love the light fabric and the little peplum and embroidery details.

The jeans were a steal at only $10 – they are the best fitting, don’t slide down and are very comfortable although I don’t like the rips so I patched it … funnily they are cropped but because I’m a shorty they fit just right!!

I like these old sandals and my long cross with the outfit.

Classic Faux Wrap and Frilled Sleeves Dress!

These type of heavy jersey faux wrap dresses are always a winner on my hourglass shape – this one even more so because it has a nice v-neck and three-quarter frilled cuff sleeves, all of which make it flattering and feminine.

I thought this cute little wicker bag and the baby pink shoes were a pretty touch with some tortoiseshell sunnies.

I like the delicate small floral print of this navy background dress and it was ideal for getting some business attended to before we came away down the coast again!

Bee Update:

We have been establishing our first hive and they are doing really well – we found a section of the property that is out of the wind and gets plenty of morning sun while being protected from harsh afternoon sun.

The bees are Italian bees and should be quite calm and produce lots of nice honey, although Australia may soon be running very low on honey because of climate change and terrible drought, so hopefully we – Purple Sting – will be able to produce a little – we shall see!!

Watch the video – the bees buzzing is so cool!
