Keeping Cosy!!
Well, we’ve had a real cold snap here on the south east coast of sunny Australia, so I can share one of the cosy outfits I’ve been wearing this week with my northern hemisphere compatriots.
I love to wear vibrant colours, and teal is up there along with my favourites of red, burgundy, cobalt and emerald!
I’ve worn a grey, long-sleeved, fine-knit, midi-dress underneath.
A Little Bit of Western!!
I hadn’t realised that this was sort of a “Wild West look” until someone mentioned it when I posted the outfit on Instagram.
My old jeans belt went over the cardi with ease and was wide enough to cinch but not to overwhelm my petite frame.
I added my grey tights, only to realise they had a hole in them, as you can see in the pic!! Very annoying!!
These grey booties were the perfect match with the grey dress and tights to give a longer, leaner look!!
The details on this cardigan collar and hem trim is soo lovely and, as I have shown in a previous post Here is versatile and works beautifully open or as a hood.
Manifesting the Magic!
I have talked in previous posts about setting intentions and manifesting our hope and dreams.
We have been focusing on establishing a business involving bees at our farm in Eden and this week we’ve received news from our Beekeepers Club that a swarm has become available and we will be taking possession of it in early November!
We also met with an artist and were able to decide on our designs for our labels and logo – so a very exciting time!!
It’s like the heaviness of the last few years is lifting and some really great things are finding their way towards us!!
Save The Bees and Purple Sting!!
We’ve named our little business Purple Sting and we soo look forward to engaging with something that is so environmentally positive and worthwhile and I look forward to sharing what we do with all of you!!
In acknowledgement of this great event I’m wearing one of my little bee brooches given to me by my daughter and made in Tasmania and I’ve included a little video of a bee …
Thank you so much for joining me on my little corner of the web and I’d love to hear your thoughts on wearing belts over cardigans, bees or things related to fashion!!

October 16, 2019 at 6:25 pmDonna, this outfit does have a bit of a Western flair and it is so cute! I love the fun details on this cardigan and teal is such an amazing color on you. I had to laugh at your torn tights because way back in my high school days I gave up the fight with torn tights and when they would rip or run, I would just shred them and call it a new trend! It was the era of grunge so it worked in my favor! Congratulations on your bee buzz-iness! I wish you much success! Thanks for linking up with me!
