Simple Skirt, T-Shirt and a Denim Jacket…
It’s warming up here in Australia so I decided to shop my wardrobe and pulled out this black and white leaf print midi-skirt.
The pockets and cute cut make this an easy-to-wear skirt.
I went for a simple graphic white with black writing t-shirt and added a simple denim jacket.
I’ve shopped my wardrobe with this outfit because October is a no shop month and I’m working to be as sustainable as possible.
Out and About …
Its been just over two weeks since the breast reconstruction surgery and I’ve been told to rest by my surgeon, although I’ve been getting out for a few hours most days, which I think has been good for my mental health.
I am always wrestling with anxiety, so it does me good to get out of the house and be around people and some lively energy.
Speaking of which, yesterday I had an appointment with my Doctor and I had a vitamin infusion treatment to help with post-operative healing.
The results could be seen already this morning, with slightly less swelling and bruising, and I will keep you posted about how the healing progresses.
Keeping In Shape!!
As I said in a previous post I feel as even my nose has gained a couple of kilos since the operation – I seem to have retained lots of fluid, haven’t been able to exercise, and although I’ve been sticking to my intermittent fasting, I’ve been eating too much of the wrong sorts of foods like sweets and simple carbohydrates and in large portions.
I’m going to address this as soon as I can because I don’t like feeling like this as we enter into summer.
The scarf added a bit of fun, along with the sunnies, and in this outfit I’ve repeated the round shape in my belt and little necklace for a cute and casual spring look!
I think this outfit is fine for our spring and would work well for an autumn look as well – what do you think? I’d love to hear what you think about wearing similar outfits spring through autumn…
Thank you for joining me in my little corner of the web!

October 4, 2019 at 3:25 pmDiscovered your blog over on Shelbees On The Edge and had to come over and let you know how much I enjoy your outfit. As a retro fashion lover, myself, I’m always thrilled to see like minded bloggers showing their own spin on that look. May you bounce back quickly. Am very intrigued by the vitamin infusions!

October 4, 2019 at 10:26 pmOh how lovely!! Thank you for your kind and considerate comment!! I must say that my style is very eclectic, although I’ve always tended towards a retro aesthetic, even as a very young woman where I wore my mother’s things from the forties and fifties, although I also like wear contemporary fashions. Your page is a delight and I tried to follow your blog but for some reason it wouldn’t let me but I should be able to get you in your Instagram!! Have a great weekend!!
