Another Pleated Skirt In the Mix!

I was reluctant to try this trend because I felt that as a petite and curvy woman a pleated skirt may make me look short and dumpy.
I picked up this dark floral skirt for a great price a couple of weeks ago and felt it would be perfect for the last of our mild winter and into spring and autumn next year.
The skirt would look great with a cute graphic t-shirt and sandals in summer too …
Movement and Matching!
The skirt has beautiful movement when I walk and is very feminine and swishy.
It is quite long, but that is the nature of the skirt, and I don’t find it overwhelming or that it swamps my frame.
The light nature of the georgette fabric certainly helps with this.
I can be a bit conservative in the way I dress and chose to wear a black v-neck faux-wrap top and this fabulous suede fringed jacket which is pre-loved and I purchased at a steampunk festival – I think it would look great with burgundy on top so will have to look into that!!
The burgundy tights and gorgeous booties were brought out to play again because I just love them soo much!
Added Extras…
The mid-sized belt, beret and sunglasses finished off what is basically a simple outfit.
I’ve also paired it with a burgundy velour jumper and longer tartan coat…
I wore this to get some energy healing – working with crystals, reiki and chakras – even if it’s placebo it always helps with the anxiety and pain following the botched breast reconstruction surgery, so such sessions are always looked forward to!!
