Dangerous Curves Ahead!
I joined the A Pocketful of Polkadots Linkup party!
When I want to put on a dress that will boost my confidence, then I reach for a wrap or faux wrap style.
The thing that’s a bit different about this dress is the fitted skirt.
So flattering as it hugs every curve!
I love the way the dress moves around my hips and legs as I walk.
Print it Out!!
This season there has seen a plethora of large prints in clothing.
Not this dress!
With a delightful small repeating pattern print, this dress is all class!
The delightful trim around the cuffs and collar that works it’s way down the front of the dress and into the tie is in a lovely magenta, which lifts the navy and white on the main body of the dress.
Comfort over Style:
I have to be honest that comfort isn’t always foremost in why I wear the things I do and yet this little dress is just so comfy.
The ruching across the front of the waist and tie make the dress very forgiving, especially after lunch!
Making it Magenta:
The thing that gives this dress a lift are the cute shoes, cane handbag, little bead bracelet and cute French bulldog brooch by Australian brand, Erstwilder.
The shoes are simple and elegant, with nice substantial heels that are so comfortable because they support the foot well.
A low ankle strap gives stability to the shoes and they are fine to wear walking around most of the day.
I have teamed this dress with navy or white accessories in the past, but it didn’t look, or feel, as good as the magenta.
Getting down to it!
As part of my recovery from breast cancer it’s been really important to me to be living my best life!
When it’s all said and done it’s only a dress, but for my morale it’s actually so much more!
I feel so much better, stronger and myself when I feel good in my clothing and that’s just what I feel with this little dress!
A post will follow showing the lingerie I wore under the dress, because I work from the inside out!
Wherever you are in the world I thank you for joining me in my little corner of the web!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on clothing, feelings and the like in the comments or leave a like or follow below,
