No Ordinary Day …
I joined the Top Of the World linkup party!
I’ve been going through a transformative journey.
It’s affected all areas of my life.
And I haven’t been alone or without help.
Last week I went in to one of the local villages, Pambula, that I had never explored before.
It’s a cute little place, with what looks like a number of cute little shops.
We’ve always just rushed through it and past it on our way back to Wollongong or way out of Eden.
It’s only a 20 minute drive over there so it’s a wonder we’d not gone there before.
But we hadn’t.
Things have changed and I’m doing things I wouldn’t normally do so I decided to toodle into Pambula and check it out.
What a lovely surprise!
I knew I’d made the right decision when I walked into a spiritual shop that sold crystals, candles, clothing and most importantly had the exact vibe I now want in my life!
@hraani.spirit – A Chance Encounter or Gift from the Universe…
Honestly, spirituality and vibrating at a higher level aside, how gorgeous is this sweet, sweet dress? Nothing in this post has been gifted to me and my thoughts are my own!
The boho vibe is spot-on for the hot weather we are having here and for where my spirit is at this time of my life.
Continuing with breast reconstruction is challenging and I want to be wearing clothing that is going to foster joy, femininity and sensuality.
The stunning floral print of lime and magenta attracted me straight away because it just screams light and glory!
The dress makes me feel all woman with the soft light cotton, delicate and sensual against my skin and the fluttery skirt moving about my legs as I walk.
That’s A Wrap!!
It’s a one size fits all, and it is a little roomy but that’s fine for hot days as it’s nice not to be all squished …
I love the cross-over neckline because it brings attention up to my face and the brilliant colours really lift my complexion, giving it a real glow.
@hraani.spirit was a treasure trove of pretty things, including gorgeous and healing crystals.
I went away with a new dress and the promise of a healing session the following week, that exceeded even my highest expectations!
For Whom the Bell Tolls …
It tolls for thee and me..
The bell sleeves are very decorative and almost medieval in design, although they proved a challenge when I went out to dinner!!
Once again, it was about the way this dress makes me feel when I wear it – and that was all kinds of good and quite frankly very sexy indeed as the soft summer breeze gently lifted the skirt around my body.
Getting the Details Just Right!!
How perfect are the magenta shoes with this dress?
And the cute lacy handbag!
I also added an old wooden bead necklace, a tie-dyed head band, my old drop leafy earrings and my wood-rimmed sunglasses…
So overall, a very successful shopping trip was had, once again reinforcing my newfound philosophy of self-love, self-care and stepping out of my comfort zone not to benefit others, as I have all of my life in my work and at home, but for the benefit of little old me!
Now more than ever am I aware of how far I’ve come away from what was making me ill, stressed and over-worked.
Giving my all to a profession and to so many people who simple didn’t deserve it.
But that no longer serves me!
I have gratitude for what I have learnt and for the good souls I encountered and I have gratitude that I’ve moved on!
I am telling all of you that I am here for me now, in a way I’ve never been!!
Putting it out to the universe that I choose love and peace!
Making the Hard Choices
I’m now living my best life and embracing new experiences and opportunities and I have encounters like I’ve been having in Pambula and close family and my dear Tina from @akashichealing to thank for helping to point the way!
As I have been doing recently, I will be doing a post showing the underwear I wore with this dress – so important to keep up morale when you’ve had life-changing challenges, so important!!
I decided to select a one-piece bodysuit and it felt glorious!!
Until next time, thank you for joining me in my little corner of the web!!
I would love to hear what you thought of this dress and healing in general in the comments or leave a like or follow, I’m also on Instagram under donnadoesdresses
