Lady’s Underpinnings and Sensuality in Dressing …

From head to Toe!!

Be warned that I’m going to be in underwear so if that’s not your schtick then you had best not read further!!

As I wear a lot of dark clothing I find myself usually wearing black lingerie.

I was wearing a dress with a lighter top so the cream lingerie fit the bill perfectly:

This lingerie was NOT gifted to me and all opinions are my own .

I purchased this @pleasurestate lingerie, as I progress through the breast cancer reconstruction process.

Reconstruction and Construction:

It’s quite a small fit but just size up and don’t worry about the label and enjoy the beautiful satin and lace fabric.

I have a delicate and sensitive skin, but the lace on this bra and panty set doesn’t itch or irritate in any way.

The cup is slathered in smooth satin and edged in delicate lace, so it doesn’t show through the fabric of the dress or top that you are wearing.

There’s also sweet little crystals that hang in the middle of the bra – I forgot to get a pic!!

Being All Woman and Embracing Your Sensuality:

As women we are Daughters, Sisters, Aunts, Mothers and Colleagues.

It’s easy to forget we are ourselves.

We are women with hopes, dreams and desires that are separate from the constraints in which society places us!

This is exactly what I am embracing as someone who has put others before myself, for so many reasons, my whole life!!

Now, I’m not saying that beautiful lingerie is a panacea for everything that ails you but in my case where I had a breast removed, hormones thrown into disarray, three surgeries in as many months that damaged my hair and made my skin tired and sad, it was a good addition to my femininity and bringing my sexy back, along with some pretty clothes and hair extensions!!

The End Of The Line …

This final photo shows some of the scars that are evident across my chest.

I don’t like them.

But at least I have my life and a new lease on all aspects of it… all aspects of it!!

And I’m going to embrace all that I can!

Thank you so much for joining me in my little corner of the web today!!

I am actually grateful that I have had this experience with the breast cancer as I feel it has forced a change in my life and attitude that has been too long coming. I have been forced to deal with so much that I had buried deep in my heart and I am glad that I can now deal with it! It warms my heart to be talking to you about such things. I wish you a wonderful week! Donna 🧚🏻‍♀️❤️🙏
