Navy linen dress and warm days …

In the Navy!!

This simple linen blend dress is doing everything right as we move towards Summer here in Australia.

I Love Me Some Details!

This dress is chock full of detaily goodness with these beautiful big wooden buttons that snake their way down the front of the dress:

I’m also loving the tabbed elbow-length sleeves which gives good coverage to my arms from the harsh Australian sun.

The split is a little high but, with the cut of the dress there is enough movement to ensure modesty.

There’s gathering at the back waist and a nice tie to help emphasise a nice waist line!

I’ve paired it with these lovely platform nude, zip-back leather sandals and my Mum’s little wicker bag. I like to keep Mum close when I can and this is one way I do that!

My old boho jewellery and cool leather cuff fits well with this look too!

Thank you for joining me in my little corner of the web! I would love to hear what you think about such styles in a comment, or leave a like or follow …

    1. Oh!! Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web – I feel so excited as I’ve been a fan of yours for years!! The backdrop is our farm in Eden, New South Wales and it’s pretty remote but so peaceful!! The linen dress is great for our hot Australian summers and the wicker bag was Mum’s which makes it special… have a great week, Laurie! πŸ§šπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ¦‹πŸ™
