Dresses that Stay Neutral! πŸ˜‰πŸ§πŸ™„

Being Beige!!

If you’ve read some of my other posts here or on Instagram you would know that I love to wear colourful outfits whenever possible!

This dress and jacket combination are the exception.

I love it’s simplicity and elegance.

As a petite woman, monochromatic dressing is considered flattering, and regardless of this I love the fact that it’s an uncluttered look, placing the focus on the person wearing the outfit, rather than the outfit itself!

The seaming down the front of the dress also contributes to elongating the figure!

It’s All In The Details!

The light colour works as an effective backdrop to this “plus sign”, which I’ve had for a while, fitting perfectly with this outfit.

The feminine frill down the front of the short jacket adds an interesting twist to the original masculine trench coat.

It’s a Shoe-in!!

I kept the whole look neutral from head to toe:

These pumps have a slight platform which adds to their comfort, and being a nice patent leather they add a chic look to the outfit.

I was also lucky to find a pair of sunglasses that paired delightfully with the ensemble:

Getting down to it:

Overall, I would say that wearing this outfit made me feel as confident and capable as I feel when I wear unrelieved black – and that’s pretty confident and capable, the only difference is I have to be more careful not to get grubby!

Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the web and I would love to hear from you in the comments or leave a like or follow!
