Tuesday Blues and how to beat them …πŸ˜ΏπŸ˜“πŸ™€

Life on the farm in the mountains of Eden, NSW, is pretty isolated as we have no neighbours for many kilometres and we have to use a four-wheel drive to get into the property.

This has advantages in terms of peace and serenity.

Then we come back up to our little apartment in the centre of Wollongong, some 400kms north of Eden and we are amongst it all again.

From wall-art, restaurants, cafes, shopping boutiques and the beautiful beach for our early morning walk, Wollongong is anything but serene!

When we are in Wollongong we like to take advantage of all that it has to offer.

We have recently discovered cheap Tuesdays at the movies and have made this a regular past-time for Tuesday afternoons.

Yesterday we saw ‘The Nun’ and last time it was ‘Meg’. We do like our scary films, and action movies too.

I’ve found it a lot of fun to leave Netflix behind on Tuesdays and just wander up the street, because we are right in the middle of Wollongong so don’t need to drive, have a little shop around, indulge in a nice coffee in one of the cute cafes and catch the movie of our choice.

This is what I wore yesterday:

This ladder lace skirt can be dressed up or down -I decided to tough it up with the black tights and platform suede booties.

It’s spring here in Australia but still remains a touch cool, especially as evening descends, so I added my zippy cropped jacket and mustard scarf to the fun graphic t-shirt that sported the same colour in its print …. and voila! I was ready to head out!

After a photo in front of the new wall-art a couple of blocks from our apartment and watching the movie we headed back to ‘Dagwoods’ where I had a lovely glass of bubbly and finally made it home to finish some leftovers for an easy Tuesday night dinner!

Things are very good at the moment and I’m learning to appreciate and enjoy just where my life is at – right at this very moment!

I wish you all the best day and hope that you are making the most of where your life is at this point!

I’d love to hear from you about living your best life in the comments or leave a like or follow …
