Comfort, cuteness and ease … what more could you ask for?
As a woman of a certain age, the body changes from one day to the next, not to mention throughout the day, so what is positive about “the jersey dress” is that it allows for such variability thanks to the actual fabric that actually has give in it.
This little dress is bright and fun, with two of my favourite colours, red and cobalt … I’ve paired it with cobalt tights, shoes and infinity scarf and a red leather jacket – at other times I’ve worn it with red tights and booties and red scarf, it just depends on my mood!
This little dress is an A-line, making it truly easy wear.
The next dress is a closer fit and once again is patterned:
The pattern and cut of this dress is more my authentic style which I have discussed in a previous post.
I much prefer the smaller pattern and once again it has my favourite, jewel colours.
There is a little waist twist that pulls this dress in nicely, emphasising the slimmest part of the body.
Red in the tights, booties and leather jacket, pulled the look together and I added a beret and my red dolly necklace …
A wrap dress – and who doesn’t love a wrap dress? with a full, swishy and feminine skirt and a flattering V-neckline.
It has a smaller print, black and white spots on navy background.
I paired it with a cropped black leather jacket, navy tights and navy booties but it could just as easily be worn with a blazer and heels for a more conservative context or work environment – but it’s winter here in Australia so my preference is for the tights and booties, plus I just love that look…
When I looked back I realised just how many of these little numbers I’ve been wearing this year …
This is navy with small blush flowers, has a lovely crossover neckline and a frill around the cuffs.
This was worn with navy tights and navy heels and a navy cropped, military jacket.
The whole effect of this is stylish and chic …
As you can gather, I do love my jersey dresses and I think their versatility and capacity to be worn all year around in a variety of ways and for a plethora of purposes, from work to dinner to more formal occasions such as weddings and parties …
