My home is so important to me – it’s the place where I feel most like myself and can let my guard down and just enjoy the here and now.
There’s always plenty to do here, from the routine of cleaning and maintenance to improvements here and there.
There’s nothing like snuggling into a warm, soft and snuggly bed.
No matter what work we are doing on the rest of the house, the bedrooms are always a haven to be able to relax in and get much needed rest.
A contemporary four poster bed and a mix of eclectic light-wood antique furniture makes one of the bedrooms.
This beautiful lead light window fills the room with gorgeous, coloured eastern light every morning …
The other loft bedroom is furnished with all cream furniture and has a lovely light and bright feel to it ..
The Danish call warm, snuggly and cosy places “hygge” and I think these two rooms in my little house fit that bill beautifully …
And we are always counting our blessings for having this space to share with those we love!
Do you think the Danish are into something with this notion of “hygge” and do you love creating warm, cosy spaces in your home? Tell me all about it in the comments below and like or follow for more conversations like this …
